1841 1d Deep Red-brown, a GU+ RARE VERTICAL PAIR from this VERY SCARCE plate, with four close(S)-to-mostly LARGE margins all round, but vertical filing crease down right margin/frame-line, on entire letter London to Cheadle dated 9 July 1841 (the LAST KNOWN DAY OF USE of this plate), cancelled with black Maltese Crosses. NE break, slight basal shift on both, and the top of SE corner doubled on 'AK'. Cat.£560+. New!
